Claws of Guthix has a special effect, decreasing the enemies Defence level by 5% when hit, though this effect does not stack. The effect will not apply again until the target's defence has returned to their normal level. The base hit of this spell is 20, but it can be boosted to 30 through the use of the spell Charge.
