Flames of Zamorak is a combat spell in the standard spellbook, unlocked through the completion of The Mage Arena activity. A Zamorak staff, Staff of the Dead, or Toxic staff of the dead must be wielded to cast this spell. Only the Staff of the dead can autocast this spell.

Flames of Zamorak has a special effect, decreasing the enemies Magic level by 5% when hit, though this effect does not stack. Magic level contributes to magic defence, meaning this effect does cause following attacks to be more accurate. The base hit of this spell is 20, but it can be boosted to 30 through the use of the spell Charge. With the use of other damage boosting equipment, the max hit can get significantly higher than 30.
