Ice Burst is a combat spell in the Ancient spellbook capable of freezing your target, making them unable to move for 10 seconds. Like all burst spells, Ice Burst hits up to 9 enemies within a 3x3 grid around the primary target.

Ice Burst is a very common spell in Castle Wars and the Fight Pits. Each cast is relatively cheap compared to Ice Barrage and the level requirement is significantly lower. This in combination with the fact that it hits multiple targets and prevents them from moving makes it a popular choice in these mini-games.

As with all Ancients, Desert Treasure must be completed to use this spell.

A Magic level of 70 is required for this spell and it gives 40 experience. It requires 2 Death runes, 4 Chaos runes, and 4 Water runes to cast.
